Square and Round Dance Club in Logan Utah

New Dance Location and Fee Adjustments!

As we close the year 2025, we’re making a few adjustments for next year. First, it has yet to be posted but we’ve changed our schedule again and have been following it the past few weeks. It goes like this:

  • 6 – 7 pm  Square dancing with teaching techniques –  w/ 1 round between tips
  •  7 – 7:15 pm    Pre-rounds – (the previous 30 minute rounds has been split into two 15 minute segments)
  • 7:15 – 8 pm Mainstream Dancing –  w/ 2 rounds between tips
  • 8 – 8:15 pm Pre-rounds
  •  8:15 – 9:15/9:30 pm Plus Dancing w/ 2 rounds between tips

Starting in January, the club will become a dues-based club instead of a fees-based club, meaning that at the beginning of the year active members will pay $100 per person, and then pay nothing the rest of the year and can go dancing whenever they like! People who do not want to be active club members are welcome to continue paying $7.50 per person each dance night through venmo or mailing a check (not at the door). We expect this will help the decision of “Do we want to go dance for just an hour because we have something going on and pay $7.50 for an hour?” because it turns into “We have an hour that we could go dance with our friends and it won’t cost us a thing!”

Because of the reduced fees, the club will need to cut costs where possible, so we will be dancing in a church this coming January. As a bonus, this will allow us to have potlucks in the same room as dancing, which will increase socialness in the club. The address we will be dancing at beginning in January is:

355 Canyon Road, Providence, Utah.

Anniversary dances will continue to be a dance that has admission and raises funds for the club.

As a Christmas gift to all club members and to kick things off early, there will be no activity fees (admission fees) the rest of December. Membership dues for next year are due before the end of January.

That’s the rundown! Hope you can make it to the potluck dance on December 20th at Ridgeline High School, and have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
